In this category, I have gathered a selection of traditional Balkan recipes for cookies, cakes and savoury baked treats.
In the Balkans, we love baking! You will find is a variety of wonderful recipes to choose from.
Some of the traditional bakes may not be to everyone’s taste because they are prepared with sugar syrup and can be rather sweet. But, I also have delightful cookies, cakes, crackers and savoury delights.
Most of my recipes are great to serve as a snack or dessert, with your afternoon tea or with a cup of coffee. Some of my treats can make lovely little gifts to family and friends.

I love waffles! They are my guilty pleasure, and, for me, this recipe is the best one I have tried. It makes delicious waffles, wonderfully crispy on the outside and light and soft on the inside.
